Sand Canyon Country Club One of California’s premier golf destinations, Sand Canyon golf course nestled at the base of the Angeles National Forest offers breathtaking views of the Santa Clarita Valley. History In 1999, renowned architects Ted Robinson Sr. and Ted Robinson Jr. designed the 36 hole Robinson Ranch Golf Club. It is located just 35 miles north of Los Angeles, and is spread over 400 acres nestled at the base of the Angeles National Forest. After the Sand Canyon Fire in July 2016, businessman Steve Kim purchased the Golf Club and converted in into a 27 hole desert course. It has been renamed Sand Canyon Country Club and is open to the public. Steve Kim is committed to making it one of the most beautiful golf courses around.
